A rare form of adze used to split the spiked rind of the fruit of the Breadfruit tree. The slender curved tapered blade, made from the rib of the Sea Turtle, is strapped with a complex ligature to a angled branch so that the blade is off center from the handle. This example is for a right-hand person.
